Declaration

Before any tobacco product is placed on the market, manufacturers and importers of tobacco products transmit, by brand and type, to the National Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health Safety (ANSES ) a list of all ingredients used in the manufacture of tobacco products and their emissions.

This declaration includes:

the reasons for the presence of the ingredients in the product;
the exact amount established in descending order of the weight of each ingredient included in the product;
levels of emissions of tar, nicotine and carbon monoxide;
where available, information on other emissions, their levels and the measurement methods used;
