Except for the application of an extended and valid national agreement concerning a sector of the general scope of application referred to below (HLM or promotion-construction, for example), or a category of staff (operating staff, security and interview, for example, which is covered by the national collective agreement for caretakers, janitors and building employees of 11 December 1979), this agreement regulates the relationship between employers and employees on metropolitan territory:

  • companies whose main activity is in real estate in all the activities defined in division 68 of the French classification of activities rev. 2 entered into force on January 1, 2008 by Decree No. 2007-1888 of December 26, 2007;
  • of companies registered under code 81.10Z of the French nomenclature of activities rev. 2 entered into force on January 1, 2008;
  • in tourist residences and hotel residences that may be registered under code APE 55.20Z of the French classification of activities rev. 2 entered into force on January 1, 2008;
