Anyone established in France who wishes to exercise the activity must hold a license. It may apply for one or more licenses corresponding to the activity or activities carried out, as described in the section "Definition of the activity":
- license to operate venues (1st category),
- show producer license (2nd category),
- show distributor license (3rd category).
The license is personal and non-transferable:
- if the activity is carried out by a natural person, the license is granted to that person,
