On the recommendations of the HCSP, in the maximum alert zone, the new sanitary protocol requested for restaurants involves the following measures:

Regarding the respect of barrier gestures and physical distancing:
  • The restaurant must respect a free space of at least 1 m between the chairs of different tables. The goal is to reduce the density of people in an enclosed space to limit aerosolization. The installation of protective screens can complement this measure.
  • Wearing a mask for staff in the dining room, at reception and in the kitchen: it is forbidden to wear any facial protection (eg half-visor, etc.) other than the general public mask in reusable fabric meeting Afnor's specifications (category 1). Wearing a mask for standardized medical use is possible. The mask must cover the nose, mouth and chin.
